ABOUT
My name is Aimée Hutchinson and I am a Master of Science graduand in Medical Art from the University of Dundee. I am passionate about bringing art and science together to create beautiful, comprehensive and detail-oriented medical and scientific illustrations. I work within multiple disciplines ranging from traditional 2D illustrative work to 3D modelling and animation and have worked alongside various professionals within the healthcare and science industry.
I have a Bachelor of Art with Honours in Fine Art from Belfast School of Art, and in 2015 I won the prestigious Belfast Print Workshop Student Award for my degree show work which aimed to visually interpret Jean-Martin Charcot's findings on the female hysterics of la Salpêtrière.
Since 2012, I have worked as a freelance portrait and animal artist, specialising in graphite and colouring pencil. My work has been purchased by buyers from all over the world and I have collaborated with various charities and causes within Northern Ireland, donating my artwork to raise funds for vital services.
